I'm Terry Blackburn, founder of The Wealthy Advisers Club, multi-award-winning entrepreneur, and the man who built and scaled two multi-million-pound brokerages before quietly training hundreds of UK advisers to sell more, earn more, and build real wealth.
The Story
01 Where I Started
Born and raised in Newcastle upon Tyne. Educated at Ponteland High School. No silver spoon, no easy route in. Just a kid who watched his parents work hard and decided early he wanted to do something different with his life.
That early hunger never left. The same drive that took me out of my hometown and into financial services in my early 20s. It's the same drive I teach advisers today.

02 Building Bespoke Financial
Over my 16-year career in financial services, I built and scaled two multi-million-pound brokerages from scratch. Bespoke Financial grew to over 100 brokers and became the largest firm within the Primis Mortgage Network for multiple consecutive years. Alongside it, I built Mortgage Genie.
Together we picked up 15+ national awards with Primis. I personally wrote 1,100 life insurance policies in a single month. I raised 7 figures in angel investment to grow the group. In 2022, I sold Bespoke Financial, ready for the next chapter.
03 Launching The Wealthy Advisers Club
After Bespoke, I kept seeing the same pattern: brilliant advisers doing 20% of what they were capable of. They didn't need motivation. They needed systems, scripts, frameworks, and accountability that didn't fold the moment things got hard.
So I launched The Wealthy Advisers Club, the largest protection and mortgage adviser training community in the UK. The same playbooks that built two brokerages and won 15+ national awards, now accessible to every UK adviser. CPD accredited, 67 training sessions, over 35 hours of structured training.

04 Where I Am Now
Today, The Wealthy Advisers Club has nearly 2,000 members across the UK. I run a £10M+ property portfolio across England and Wales: HMOs, BTLs, flips, and a hotel project I'm particularly proud of. I lead a group of businesses spanning hotels, coaching, and property.
In January 2026, we packed out the Marble Arch Hotel in central London for the TWAC Conference. Speakers, top brokers from across the Primis, Sesame, and Mortgage Advice Bureau networks, and a room full of advisers building real businesses. I'm a published author, a husband, a father, and I get to wake up every day and teach the thing I love. There's nothing better than that.

Career Timeline
